We have just released our debut CD, Songs and Dances of Early America. Performed on original nineteenth century American instruments, it contains music from all of our programs: dance music, songs, and opera arias popular in the U.S. when these instruments were built. Many of the selections on the CD have never been previously recorded, including music from president John Quincy Adams' personal tune book and period opera arrangements for flute and guitar. We have included detailed liner notes and photographs describing the music, the era, and the instruments.
